My beautiful daughter, Kayla, turned 16 on Sunday. We had a great celebration with family and friends over the weekend. We wanted to plan something different and fun, so we created an opstacle course and laughed hysterically.  It was a beautiful weekend to be outdoors to celebrate our first baby girl!  It is so hard to believe that she is now on her way into adulthood, soon to be driving. She is such a bright, funny and strong minded (oh yes) young lady, and her dad and I are very proud of her. She has always been booksmart and we rarely ever have to remind her to do her homework; which is a blessing. The teenage years have not been easy, but I know that one day she and I will be the best of friends like my mother and I are; at least I hope.  Happy Sweet 16 Kayla! I love you!
